Tupper Bar LLC, doing business as Trails End Tavern (“we,” “us,” or “our”), respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and safeguard information when you visit trailsendadk.com, make or manage a reservation, contact us or choose to receive our text messages.

Our restaurant is located at 1880 State Route 30, Tupper Lake, New York 12986. This policy applies to our website and related reservation and communication services. Third-party websites and services have their own privacy policies.

Information you provide

• Reservations: your name, mobile number, optional email address, reservation date and time, party size and any notes or requests you choose to provide.
• Contact requests: your name, email address, message and related correspondence.
• Communication preferences: whether you request reservation texts, the time and source of your consent, the consent notice presented to you, and records of opt-in and opt-out requests.

Please include only information needed to handle your reservation or question. Do not send payment card details, passwords or other unnecessary sensitive information through our forms.

Information collected through our services

Our website and service providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, page visits, referral information, timestamps and diagnostic or security logs. Messaging providers may process carrier information, delivery status and responses such as STOP or HELP. We also maintain reservation status and communication delivery records.

• Create, confirm, manage and cancel reservations, and prepare for your visit.
• Respond to questions and service requests submitted through our website or email.
• Send reservation emails and, with your separate SMS consent, reservation texts.
• Honor communication preferences, provide help and prevent further texts after an opt-out.

Providing a mobile number for a reservation does not, by itself, enroll you in our text program. Reservation text consent does not authorize promotional text messages.

Our website uses cookies and similar browser technologies where needed to operate services, maintain sessions, prevent duplicate actions and measure advertising performance.

Google Ads measurement

We use Google Ads tags on public website pages to measure visits and completed reservations. Google may receive information such as your IP address, browser information, pages visited, advertising identifiers and cookies. A successful reservation can generate a conversion event containing a reservation identifier. We do not include guest names, phone numbers, email addresses or reservation notes in that conversion event.

Maps and browser controls

Our location map loads content from third-party map services, which may receive your IP address and browser request information. Following a directions link opens the selected map provider’s service.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or browser storage may affect some website functions. Advertising choices do not change your reservation or your SMS preferences.

Our SMS program provides reservation confirmations, one pre-arrival reminder and cancellation notices to guests who select the optional, initially unchecked SMS consent box on our reservation form. Message frequency varies with your reservations. Consent is not required to make a reservation or purchase.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or rent mobile numbers. Text-message opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.

We disclose the information needed to deliver requested texts and honor preferences to messaging service providers and telecommunications carriers. This limited operational processing does not authorize those providers to use SMS consent information for their own marketing.

Stopping texts and getting help

Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for automated assistance. Our toll-free messaging provider handles these keywords. A final message may confirm your opt-out. You can also use the private link in a reservation text to stop messages or contact info@trailsendadk.com.

Stopping texts does not cancel your reservation or affect your ability to book. A message already in transit may still arrive. Ordinary replies are not monitored for reservation changes; contact the tavern for assistance. See our SMS terms for further details.

Service providers

Authorized staff and service providers may process information as needed to operate our website and restaurant services. These include hosting and database providers, reservation and email delivery services, SMS providers, telecommunications carriers and security services. Advertising and map providers process browser information as described in the cookies and advertising section.

Legal obligations and protection

We may disclose information when required by applicable law or valid legal process, to respond to lawful government requests, enforce our terms, investigate abuse, or protect the rights, safety and property of guests, staff and others.

Business transfers

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law and the protections described in this policy. We will provide notice if your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy. A transfer does not create new consent to promotional texts.

You may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information we hold about you. We may need to verify your identity and retain information needed for legal obligations, security, recordkeeping or honoring your opt-out.

Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply to our business, you may have additional rights, including information about our data practices, a copy of your information, deletion, correction, limits on certain uses, or an appeal of a request decision. California residents may have rights under the CCPA where applicable. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information, including secure connections and restrictions on staff access. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Reservation links are private and may allow someone with the link to view or cancel a reservation or manage text preferences. Keep these links to yourself and contact us if you believe one has been used without authorization.

We retain reservation and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain business records, resolve disputes and meet applicable obligations. Delivery and diagnostic records help prevent duplicate communications, address failures and track service use.

SMS consent and opt-out records may be retained for up to five years after opting out, or longer where required by law or a legal hold. We may retain a minimal suppression record as needed to avoid sending further messages to an opted-out number. Requesting deletion does not automatically remove this safeguard.

We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that no longer reasonably identifies you. Contact us to request deletion, subject to applicable retention needs.

Our online reservation and SMS services are intended for adults. The SMS program is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate authorization, contact info@trailsendadk.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Links to external websites, maps and other services are provided for convenience. Their operators are responsible for their own privacy practices; review their policies before providing information.

Our restaurant and services are based in the United States, and our SMS program is intended for U.S. recipients. If you access our website from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where our service providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

We may update this policy as our services or obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice of material changes when appropriate, such as a notice on our website or a direct communication where permitted.

A policy update does not override an opt-out or create consent for a new text-message purpose. Where required, we will request consent separately.
